SSVP: update and new members needed.
St. Peter’s Conference would like to thank Parishioners for their financial and prayerful support over the last year which has helped so many people. We are looking for new members so if you feel you would like to join us please speak to one of our members.

Date for your diary: Saturday 20 June at the Vigil Mass:
Dedication of the new Altar at St. Peter’s by Archbishop Leo Cushley (approx 1.5 hours). Followed by Prosecco and cake in St. Peter’s courtyard and Parish room.

Eat and share

Dates for forthcoming Eat and share’, held in St. Peter’s parish room are:

  • 7pm, Thursday 28 May, our topic our topic will be `Our Lady’,speaker to be confirmed.

 

Volunteers needed to join St. Peter’s Children’s Liturgy team. The Children’s liturgy celebrates the gospel reading from a resource that allows the children to understand the reading at a younger level; then a very short discussion about it; and an activity (usually colouring in). New volunteers needed to join the team. No previous experience working with children required; the role is open to anyone over the age of 18, male or female. The only requirement is that all new leaders must join the PVG Scheme and attend a safeguarding training session (PVG and training session will be organised by our Parish Safeguarding co-ordinator). Sung Vespers with prayers for the Holy Land takes place at St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, on Wednesday 20 May at 7:00pm. Includes the exhibition 50 Faces of the Holy Land.
